I attended a Japanese Sumi-e painting workshop, using traditional Japanese inks and brushes to create a composition with grapes and a bird.
The workshop was led by the renowned Japanese calligraphy Master Koshu (Akemi Lucas) who teaches in Japan and occasionally here in London.
We practiced the basics before moving onto the composition:
